If I Died Today is a dark experimental rock song about how we deal with the death of people we may not know too well. Are we truly honoring their lives, or are we speaking on the matter to briefly put a spotlight on ourselves? How can we get to know people better in life so that when their death occurs, we can speak about them genuinely? When is it appropriate to speak up and when is it appropriate to just listen?
